02.01.2020 Das Montreux Jazz Festival hat im Dezember 2019 sein eigenes Medienunternehmen lanciert: Montreux Media Ventures (MMV) soll u.a. die reichen audiovisuellen Archivschätze des Festivals aufbereiten, ganzjährig verbreiten und kommerzialisieren. CEO von Montreux Media Ventures ist Nicolas Bonard, der vorher bei MTV, Discovery Channel und Vice Media gearbeitet hat.

Le Montreux Jazz fera briller ses archives et concerts à travers son propre média
Montreux Media Ventures est la dernière filiale du Montreux Jazz Festival. Le but: utiliser les archives pour mettre en valeur le contenu du festival. Cela s'inscrit dans les stratégies pour gagner en revenus toute l'année, à l'image des cafés.

Montreux Jazz Fest Launches Content Creation Venture
The Montreux Jazz Festival is getting into the content creation business ahead of its 54th go-round in 2020. The Switzerland-based event announced (...) the creation of Montreux Media Ventures, a new effort it said will "diversify the festival's exposure and revenues year-round by producing high quality content."
