26.07.2020 Die am 1. Juli 1916 in Tokio geborene britisch-amerikanische Filmschauspielerin Olivia de Havilland (Bild) ist am 25. Juli 2020 in Paris gestorben. Sie war eine der Filmlegenden der "Goldenen Ära Hollywoods". Ihre Rollen in "Mutterherz" (1946) und "Die Erbin" (1949) brachten ihr den Oscar als beste Hauptdarstellerin ein. Besondere Popularität erreichte sie weltweit mit der Darstellung der Melanie Hamilton im Filmklassiker "Vom Winde verweht" (1939). Seit 1955 lebte Olivia de Havilland in Paris.

Der frühe Ruhm in Hollywood hatte seinen Preis. Der Zeitschrift "Vanity Fair" vertraute De Havilland im Jahr 2016 an, dass sie damals "keine richtigen Freunde" hatte und unter dem harten Wettbewerb litt. Ihre Langlebigkeit schrieb sie den drei L zu: "Liebe, Lachen und Licht".
